Janet Reakes created Australia's Virtual Immigration Wall of Honour in August 2000 to give people the opportunity

to record their ancestors’ or their own entry into Australia ~ not to "information seek" but to immortalise them

and to enable others connected with their family to make contact.

Since Janet's untimely death in November 2002 her website has been maintained by some of her genealogy friends.

Janet would be so pleased with the success of her creation!
